DRAWLINES ENGINEERING CONSULT is looking for MEP ESTIMATOR in Doha, Qatar

Project Duration: 6 Months

Qualification:

• Candidates with minimum 5 years experienced with hospital background will be an added advantage
• Proven minimum 5 years of experience providing electrical/mechanical estimating services for industrial, commercial, and hospital projects
• Knowledge of code requirements
• Bachelors Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products and AutoCAD

Project Site Location: Lusail

Job description:

• Develop and manage electrical estimating projects, and perform preliminary and final estimating of installations
• Generate and manage project budgets
• Work with project managers and job superintendents to obtain detailed project specifications
• Develop and maintain relationships with contractors and subcontractors
• Perform cost estimating and forecasting
• Develop and manage a cost model
• Use computer estimating software to create and compile estimates
• Prepare technical reports regarding bids and estimates
• Record and track progress
• Submit bids and estimates
• Participate in bid review meetings
• Produce detailed reports
• Prepare bid packages
• Keep up-to-date on local building codes
• Conduct performance reviews and document evaluation
• Participate in bid management
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
• Develop and maintain project budget
• Create and maintain project directives
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with a constant eye on quality
• Exceptional communication and project management skills
• Excellent organization and time management skills
