Key Responsibilities:
•Supervise electrical contractors and ensure that all work is completed according to design specifications and safety regulations.
•Monitor project progress and report on construction problems, resource needs, and overall project status.
•Prepare and develop electrical system designs, including wiring, lighting, and power distribution systems.
Create detailed drawings and schematics for electrical installations.
•Develop cost estimates for materials and labor before construction begins, ensuring the project stays within budget.
•Identify and resolve electrical issues that arise during construction, implementing solutions to keep the project on schedule.
•Conduct system tests to ensure all electrical components function correctly and comply with local and national codes.
•Perform final inspections of electrical systems upon project completion.
•Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily logs and inspection reports.
•Prepare reports on electrical installations and any issues encountered during the project.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
•6-8 years relevant experience in electrical engineering within the construction industry is essential.
•Proficiency in electrical design software and tools, as well as a strong understanding of electrical codes and standards.
•Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with project stakeholders.
