Finance Manager

ERP systems (Oracle Fusion is a MUST)  


Job Purpose

The finance manager is responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations, which includes managing financial activities, ensuring compliance with policies and standards, and delivering financial insights to support informed decision making and maintain the company's financial health.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and implement financial strategies and objectives in alignment with the overall company strategy.
  • Monitor and ensure the achievement of key financial performance indicators (KPIs) for the company and take corrective actions when necessary.
  • Oversee and manage financial controls, accounting, and budgeting activities.
  • Ensure compliance with established policies, guidelines, and financial reporting standards, such as IFRS, IAS, and SOCPA.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to the chief financial officer (CFO), board of directors, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly and weekly cash flow forecasts, cost and sales variances analysis, and financial statements for internal and external use.
  • Recommend methods and strategies for cutting costs and improving profitability.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance and analysis to the management team to facilitate effective decision making.
  • Coordinate with the CFO to support the preparation and delivery of financial presentations and reports to the board of directors.
  • Support the chief financial officer (CFO) in driving efficiency, standardization, and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with reporting requirements applicable to the company and represent it in external financial transactions and interactions with stakeholders.
  • Oversee and approve bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations.
  • Responsible for managing financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, analyzing financial data for strategic insights, optimizing financial performance, and supporting effective decision making in Oracle Fusion.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required. Advanced degrees such as an MBA or Master degree is a huge plus.
  • 5-7 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial or leadership position is expected.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS) and experience with financial reporting.
  • Certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) can be advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems (Oracle Fusion).
