Job Description
- Perform NDT inspections using methods such as Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Radiographic Testing (RT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Penetrant Testing (PT).
- Interpret and evaluate test results in accordance with applicable codes, standards, specifications, and procedures.
- Calibrate and maintain NDT equipment to ensure accurate and reliable testing.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company procedures.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports documenting findings and providing recommendations for any necessary repairs or maintenance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience as an NDT Inspector.
- Certified in NDT methods: UT, RT, MT, PT, or ET (e.g., ASNT Level II or III, PCN, API, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of NDT techniques, safety standards, and testing regulations (e.g., ASME, AWS, API, ASTM).
Additional Information
- Familiarity with multiple NDT methods (multidisciplinary certification preferred).
- Previous experience in industrial sectors.
- Additional certifications such as API or CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) are highly desirable.
- Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, or in challenging environments (offshore, industrial sites, etc.).
- Strong communication skills.
