Talent Acquisition Specialist

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team at Maqsam. In this role, you will be responsible for our recruitment cycle including: sourcing, identifying, screening, hiring candidates and onboarding. Ultimately, you will create strong talent pipelines for our company’s current and future hiring needs.


Your Top Responsibilities:


  • Source Candidates: Utilize headhunting techniques and online platforms, including LinkedIn and other professional networks, to identify and attract potential candidates.
  • Evaluate Candidates: Assess candidates through video interviews, review CVs, portfolios, and references, and compile lists of top candidates.
  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers: Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop candidate selection criteria.
  • Strategic Engagement: Work with the team to develop and execute effective recruitment strategies.
  • Create Job Descriptions: Develop clear and comprehensive job descriptions and interview questions that reflect the requirements of each position.
  • Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of all recruitment activities, including interview notes and related documentation, for sharing with key stakeholders.
  • Onboarding: Coordinate and streamline the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles and fostering initial engagement with company culture.
  • Build Relationships: Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates.
  • Organize Recruitment Events: Plan and participate in job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline and enhance our recruitment strategy.
  • Cultural Ambassador: Represent and promote Maqsam’s culture throughout the recruitment process.


What We Expect from You:


  • 2-5 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or HR, preferably within a technology company or SaaS environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Familiarity with recruitment tools such as Workable or other Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a knack for persuading and attracting top talent.
  • Solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
