Production Coordinator-1451

Leads on support functions within the Jordan River Designs Department related to production, administration, marketing, sales and general business development functions.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Supports department in research, administrative support and reporting functions to facilitate daily operations.
  • Manages document control functions, maintaining databases, customer relationship management to ensure proper documentation and communication.
  • Sources and develops new raw material with global suppliers, to ensure meeting the design requirements of the final products.
  • Performs the global purchases of raw material and services in timely manner, to ensure meeting the planned delivery dates of the products.
  • Tracks the status of purchases at all times, to ensure raw material is available for the production orders
  • Communicates regularly with wholesalers and suppliers as required and escalate critical issues to the Operation Supervisor or cross-functional colleagues to ensure customer satisfaction through continuous improved and sustained customer service.
  • Follows up with product information and production centres’ activities to ensure the production cycle process is within the plan.
  • Liaise with other internal departments and stakeholders as required to ensure proper coordination.
  • Supports in human resources and administration functions, and following up on the work schedule to see that the production plan is carried out.
  • Strives to achieve the highest levels of proficiency on all competencies and skills required to perform the role.
  • Performs other responsibilities and tasks as required or as directed by management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or any other related discipline;
  • Strong English and Arabic language skills (written and spoken)
  • 3-5 years
  • Previous experience in retail or FMCG industry
