Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Area Supervisor to oversee operations in the Sulphuric Acid Plant (SAP) area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-today activities of the SAP area, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily operations within the Sulphuric Acid Plant area.
- Lead and manage a team of operators and technicians to meet production targets and quality standards.
- Monitor plant processes, equipment, and performance indicators to ensure optimal production efficiency.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular inspections, maintenance activities, and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to identify and address equipment maintenance and repair needs.
- Coordinate with other departments to optimize plant operations and resolve any cross functional issues.
- Train and develop staff to enhance their skills and performance levels.
- Maintain accurate records of production, maintenance activities, and safety reports.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance plant performance and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, company policies, and environmental standards.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
