Our newest opportunity is for a talented Geotechnical Engineer to join our award-winning team based in Amman, Jordan.


This critical role will work as part of the Infrastructure team, developing geotechnical designs.


We envisage success in this role to include:


  • Designing of ground investigations.
  • Managing ground investigations, coordination with Contractors and supervision.
  • Undertaking interpretation and reporting of the factual data.
  • Undertaking shallow foundation assessments, overturning, sliding, bearing resistance, and settlement.
  • Undertaking deep foundation design
  • Becoming familiar with construction specifications, and producing site specific earthworks, ground improvement, dewatering and piling specs.
  • Covering the Senior Engineer from administrative and non-technical tasks as and when required.


To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with preference in the specialized field of Geotechnics and more than 5 years of experience in a similar position. Having a Masters Degree in Geotechnical is desirable.


Furthermore, you should demonstrate:


  • Experience in geotechnical design.
  • Fundamental understanding of soil mechanics.
  • Retaining wall or slope stability software experience would be beneficial.
  • Experience in ground investigation design, management and interpretation.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills in English.
