Key Responsibilities:

Engage and Inspire Students:

• Create a positive, fun, and supportive learning environment for kids aged 6-15.
• Teach essential IT concepts, including computer basics, coding, web development, digital design, and online safety.

Develop Curriculum and Lesson Plans:

• Tailor course materials to suit different age groups (6-8, 9-11, 12-15) with varying skill levels.
• Use interactive tools like Scratch, Blockly, HTML/CSS, and beginner-level Python to teach coding and web development.
• Integrate educational games and projects to reinforce learning.

Deliver Engaging and Hands-on Lessons:

• Use live demonstrations, group activities, and hands-on projects to teach key IT concepts.
• Keep students motivated through interactive exercises, challenges, and coding games.

Ensure Online Safety:

• Teach students the principles of digital citizenship and online safety.
• Encourage responsible use of technology and social media.

Monitor Student Progress:

• Assess student performance regularly through quizzes, projects, and practical assessments.
• Provide constructive feedback and adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.

Collaborate with Parents/Guardians:

• Maintain open communication with parents about their child’s progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
• Organize parent-teacher meetings as needed to provide updates.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory if you have relevant teaching or tech experience).

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in basic IT skills, including operating systems, Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, web browsers, etc.
• Experience with block-based coding tools (e.g., Scratch) and introductory programming languages (e.g., Python, HTML/CSS).
• Familiarity with digital design tools (e.g., Canva, Paint, etc.) is a plus.

Teaching Experience:

• Previous experience teaching children aged 6-15, either in IT or a related subject.
• Experience with remote teaching platforms like Zoom, Google Classroom, or other online learning tools is preferred.

Soft Skills:

• Passion for technology and education.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to break down complex concepts into simple, engaging lessons.
• Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude toward working with young learners.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to manage classes of varying sizes (5-20 students).
• Creativity in lesson planning to keep younger students engaged.
• Background check (required if working directly with minors).
• Flexibility in working hours to accommodate different time zones and schedules.

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
