Description Are you a Procurement Manager based in the UAE with a clear track record within Heavy Civil Engineering & Infrastructure Projects for Main Contractors.
This client are a market leader in the following sectors
Ranging from:
- Piling & Geotechnical – Earth retaining structures, Ground Improvements & Piled Foundations
- Marine – Breakwater, Quay walls, Offshore Piling , Reclamation , Jetty’s & Port Works
- Civil & Transport – Highways, Bridges , Airport Works , Tunnels & Rail works

- Projects range from 50 Million AED Of Piling through to a 2.1 Billion AED Joint Venture of a Major Metro

Role - Based In the Dubai Head Office
- Heading up a department of 16 Staff
- Managing both pre-construction & post contract awards
- Handling a range of vendors from Materials, Sub-contract & other
- You will be working with the supply chain to ensure that win win solutions are created for all parties
- Working alongside department heads with a dotted line into the Head of Group Procurement
This role is NOT about squeezing every sub-contractor for a penny so they don’t wish to tender your work. They pride themselves in working with the supply chain and ensuring that they are FAIR hence the large % of repeat suppliers
Critical Factors before considering
- 5 Years Minimum experience in the MENA region for Main Contractors in Procurement Lead Role
- Exposure to 10 Years across Procurement for Main Contractors handling Civil Projects
- 14 Years Post Graduate experience
- Degree Educated – Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying
- CIPS,CPP & CPIM Desired but not essential
- Strong management, communication & presentation skills – This will be cleat in your introduction to NSR Associates
