Position: HVAC Engineer (Male, DM/DEWA Approved)
Location: Dubai, UAE
Job Description: As an HVAC Engineer at Dakos Technical Services, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintenance, and managing HVAC systems in various commercial and residential projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC system design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, with a minimum of 6 years of experience in the construction and facilities management industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing, installing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in accordance with project specifications and local regulations.
- Preparing and reviewing engineering designs, specifications, and project schedules for HVAC systems.
- Conducting load calculations and energy efficiency studies for optimal system performance.
- Overseeing installation and commissioning of HVAC systems to ensure adherence to safety and compliance standards.
- Liaising with clients, architects, and contractors to meet project requirements.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing HVAC system malfunctions, implementing effective solutions.
- Conducting regular inspections and maintenance checks to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
- Assisting with cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and procurement activities.
- Managing multiple HVAC projects concurrently, ensuring quality control and timely project completion.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or HVAC Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
- DEWA and DM approval (required).
- Minimum 6 years of experience in the UAE in HVAC design, installation, and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) for design and simulation.
- Expertise in local authority standards (DEWA, DCD, DM).
- Valid UAE driver’s license (required).
Requirements:
- Strong problem-solving skills and technical knowledge of HVAC systems.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC system installation, inspection, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other industry-related tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
