Accountabilities and Key Roles:
- Develop and implement asset management strategies, policies, and procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date asset records, including acquisition, disposal, and maintenance history
- Ownership of the CAFM system for reporting and programming of PPM's and Helpdesk
- To ensure that the O & M records are accurately maintained.
- Manage assets and ensure that all assets are properly, collected, tagged and verified
- Develop and implement asset maintenance schedules and procedures
- Monitor and report on asset performance and utilization
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Conduct regular asset inspections and assessments to identify maintenance and replacement requirements
- Find out the sinking fund according to life cycle cost calculations
- Prepare assets management and CAFM RFPs as per the requirements and standards
- Hardware & software implementation to include establishment, backup, updates and installations.
- Manage, plan the budgeting and financial management related to assets
- To ensure that service providers meet KPI / SLA requirements from time to time.
- Develop assets job plans and preventive maintenance as per O & M and standards
- Review, validate and authorize assets collected data.
Job Requirements:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
Experience
- Minimum of 8 years experience in facility management with large companies.
Competencies
- Excellent in English and Arabic.
- Established interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong planning, management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Conversant in mainstream CAFM packages Maximo IBM, FSI Concept, SAP.
- Strong Leadership and personality.
- Strong experience in Assets Management.
- Proficiency in MS office and Microsoft Excel.
