Providing excellent service the
Business Office Assistant @ Sagewood at Daybreak is responsible for the delivery of exceptional customer service to reinforce and enhance resident and family experience, satisfaction and loyalty. In collaboration with other departments, coordinates all areas related to accounts receivable, resident profile and billing in support of the Executive Director and Associate Executive Director.
What will I do every day?
- Manage the accounts receivable process including processing monthly Billing; data entry of charges; issuing refunds; setting up ACH payments; performing collections
- Manage Petty Cash system per Kisco standards
- Support the community sales process and work with sales team to attract and retain residents
- Provide support and periodic coverage at the Front Desk
- Execute the move-in and welcome, transfer and move out processes effectively and compassionately while creating an amazing experience for residents and families based on each person’s unique situation.
- Build resident profile utilizing move-in paperwork
- Performs data entry into various database systems to include accounting and lead management systems
- Prepares various reports, logs and schedules to ensure accuracy, efficiency and compliance
- Support maintenance of administrative files, logs, databases and lists
- Attend meetings and community events as required
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming which includes wearing a name tag when working
- Adhere to all regulations, laws and Kisco standards including the Associate Handbook
- Perform other related duties as required
What will I need to be successful in this role?
- High school graduate or GED is required, bachelor’s degree preferred
- One year experience in administrative support and billing
- Experience in accounting and familiarity with accounting terms and principles preferred
- High competency in the use of multiple forms of technology including: Microsoft Office applications, internet-based and custom applications
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed
