Role Overview: We are looking for a results-driven and strategic Business Development Manager to spearhead our growth efforts in both existing and new markets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating long-term value for organizations, focusing on customer acquisition, lead generation, and relationship management. This is a critical role within our organization, responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth.

The successful candidate will be proactive in seeking out new business opportunities through client referrals, networking, and lead generation, and will excel in presenting tailored solutions to clients while managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to close. Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Business Growth: Develop and execute comprehensive business development plans to achieve the company’s growth objectives and revenue targets.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and evaluate new business opportunities through thorough market research, industry analysis, and networking efforts. Explore untapped markets to position the company’s services for maximum reach.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build, nurture, and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients while continuously identifying and engaging with prospective clients. Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their business objectives.
  • Sales Leadership: Lead the full sales cycle – from prospecting, lead generation, and pitching, to negotiating contracts and closing deals. Ensure consistent follow-up to manage post-sale relationships.
  • Collaborative Partnerships: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to align efforts and drive business development initiatives. Ensure that all departments are in sync with strategic goals.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay informed of industry trends, market conditions, and competitive dynamics. Leverage insights to position the company for innovation and competitive advantage.
  • Presentations & Proposals: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and sales pitches to internal and external stakeholders. Effectively communicate the company’s value proposition to potential clients.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), market trends, and client feedback. Use data-driven insights to refine strategies, improve sales performance, and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Networking & Events: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions. Actively promote the company’s brand and expand its presence in key markets.
  • Reporting: Provide timely and detailed reports to senior management on business development activities, pipeline status, sales performance, and revenue projections.

Key Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or account management roles, ideally in software sales. Experience in managing high-value client relationships and closing significant deals is essential.

Skills:

  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office suite.

Travel:

  • Willingness to travel as necessary to meet clients and attend industry events. A valid UAE driving license is required.
