Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic HR Specialist to join our team at Qewam. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and executing a comprehensive range of HR operations, including payroll, employee relations, recruitment, and various administrative tasks. This role requires a proactive individual with attention to detail to maintain and enhance HR functions and support our organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll and Compensation:
- Attendance and Leave Management: Oversee employee attendance tracking, leave requests, approvals, and ensure accurate records.
- Deductions and Loans Management: Handle payroll deductions and employee loans, including repayment schedules with the finance department.
- Payroll Processing: Calculate and process employee salaries, wages, and compensations.
- Payroll Reporting: Generate detailed payroll reports.
- Wage Protection System (WPS) Compliance: Ensure compliance with the Wage Protection System.
- End of Service Benefits: Calculate end-of-service entitlements for departing employees.
Employee Relations and Records:
- Employee Files Management: Create and maintain electronic employee files for all staff.
- Employee Status Changes Management: Manage and document employee status changes such as promotions and transfers.
- Preparation of Official Employee Letters: Prepare and issue official employee letters, including employment verification and reference letters.
Legal Compliance and Advisory Support:
- Disciplinary Management: Handle disciplinary processes and ensure fair treatment of all employees.
- Confidentiality Assurance: Protect the confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information.
- Contract Management: Oversee the drafting, renewal, and termination of employee contracts.
- Termination Processes: Manage the termination process in compliance with legal requirements.
- Labor Issues Management: Address and support the resolution of labor issues and disputes in collaboration with legal advisors.
Administrative and Additional HR Operations:
- Medical Insurance Management: Manage employee medical insurance policies and claims.
- Portal Management: Handle social insurance portals, Muqeem, and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.
- HRDF and Mudad Coordination: Coordinate interactions with the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) and manage services related to the Mudad platform.
- Business Trip Coordination: Arrange and approve employee business trips.
- Regulatory Compliance: Manage interactions with the Ministry of Commerce, municipality.
Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
- Job Description Development: Create detailed job descriptions for various roles within the organization.
- Interview Coordination: Manage the scheduling and conducting of interviews.
- Background Screening: Conduct thorough background checks of potential candidates.
- Candidate Selection: Screen and select final candidates for open positions.
- Job Offers: Prepare and present job offers to selected candidates.
