Position: Quality Assurance Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Quality System: Work closely with management, R&D and production team to develop, format, and review Quality SOPs, forms, specifications, and manage QA documentation. Your efforts will ensure that all processes meet our rigorous standards.
• Document Management: Organize, manage, and archive GMP documentation, product release records, and other critical quality documents. Ensure all QA-related documents are accurate and up to date.
• Complaint Handling: Manage our complaint handling system, tracking, analyzing, and closing complaints in a timely manner. Your insights will help us continuously improve our products.
• Quality Control Supervision: Oversee QC Inspectors, manage special samples, and review in-process batch records. Ensure that all manufacturing and packaging activities comply with SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Audit and Compliance: Perform supplier and vendor audits, mock recalls, and internal audits. Maintain audit records and assist in the release of finished products.
• ERP and Data Management: Maintain and update our ERP System, ensuring accurate records of batch production, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceuticals, or a related field. An associate degree with 4+ years of experience in the cosmetics industry will also be considered.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of cosmetics formulation, raw materials, and experience with cosmetic product formulations, including color matching.
• Skills: Excellent organizational skills, proficiency in computer programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, MS Projects), and strong oral and written communication abilities.
