Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Amman, Jordan for a Senior Python Developer - Backend. As a Senior Python Developer - Backend, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the Python-based applications and frameworks that power our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our software meets both present and future needs and that our development process is efficient and scalable.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Python development experience
• Expertise in designing and developing RESTful APIs and micro-services frameworks
• Strong experience with one of the web frameworks such as FastAPI & Django
• Experience in designing and working with cloud-hosted systems such as AWS and Azure
• Experience with databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL
• Strong experience with Git
• Experience with ORM such as SQLAlchemy
• Understanding the concurrency tasks in Python
• Full understanding of testing methodologies and experience with testing frameworks like PyTest
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, or a related field
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and with little oversight
