Role Overview:

The HVAC Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing HVAC systems, ensuring they meet project requirements and comply with local codes and regulations. The role involves working closely with other engineering professionals to deliver efficient and effective HVAC solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design HVAC systems for building projects, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
• Perform load calculations, system design, and equipment selection based on project specifications and requirements.
• Prepare detailed HVAC system drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate HVAC designs into overall project plans.
• Conduct site assessments and inspections to ensure HVAC systems are installed correctly and meet performance criteria.
• Review and analyze HVAC system performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize efficiency.
• Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from design to installation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.
• 4-5 years of experience in HVAC design for building projects.
• Proficiency in HVAC design software and tools (e.g., HAP, Carrier E20II, or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, principles, and industry standards.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations related to HVAC systems.
