Role Description
We are seeking a full-time, on-site Junior Developer to join our team at Double Support For Tech in Amman. The Junior Developer will assist in both front-end and back-end web development, with a focus on PHP and CodeIgniter. The role involves supporting the development, maintenance, and optimization of web applications, working closely with senior developers and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining web applications using PHP and CodeIgniter
- Implement front-end designs using Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Support the integration and optimization of MySQL databases
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving coding practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues
Qualifications
- Familiarity with PHP and CodeIgniter
- Basic understanding of front-end development using Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX
- Experience with MySQL or other relational databases
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
- Any relevant certifications or coursework in web development are a plus
