The Digital Project Manager is a key role within the Tax and Legal Line of Service (LoS) Digital (iTech) team and will be responsible for supporting the project management ,business process analysis and data analytics activities across one or more projects.

This will be a hybrid role in which the role holder is capable of undertaking discovery workshops, eliciting business needs and requirements, working with stakeholders on project planning , process analysis as well as managing projects end-to-end. Depending on the business needs, the role will flex between business analysis,data analytics and project management.

They will work in close collaboration with the business units ,team members and other stakeholders and will lead on specific process and analysis, including assessing As-is status, working with business stakeholders to create future states, developing business requirements, as well as supporting analysis and modeling for business cases and solution design as applicable.

In addition they will oversee the end to end delivery of projects from idea to post implementation review working with key Tax and Legal LoS digital and business stakeholders across the Middle east region; other teams could include the Transformation, Finance and central Technology, TLS local and global teams as required. Projects will vary, such as: new and emerging technology solutions, data projects(analytics/visualization/engineering), managing specific initiatives plans and leading a programme of process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the stakeholders to develop the project plan and break the project down to sizeable tasks to enable clear execution
  • Undertake assigned process and business analysis assignments to understand the as-is and with stakeholders drive and define future states that are aligned to the TLS agenda.
  • Define business requirements (people, process and technology), for analysis assignments.
  • Oversee development in larger projects and deliver smaller projects individually or with the support of a team.
  • Manage assigned end to end projects adhering to internal and industry standards.
  • Ensure assigned projects are fully scoped, have a robust Business Case and key stakeholders are identified.
  • Ensure timely project communication
  • Designing and building data models to support business requirements
  • Developing and maintaining data ingestion and processing systems
  • Implementing data storage solutions (databases and data lakes)
  • Ensuring data consistency and accuracy through data validation and cleansing techniques
  • Working together with cross-functional teams to identify and address data-related issues supporting business processes and systems

Experience & Personal Attributes

  • Four to Seven years of relevant experience in one, some or all domains above preferred.
  • Experience of undertaking analysis in a business environment, across a diverse portfolio of industries and/or functions, people, process and technology changes and has the ability to ‘see the bigger picture’ and ‘join the dots’.
  • Experience of working on a strategic role would be highly advantageous
  • Proficiency in programming languages (Python, or other mainstream object oriented languages)
  • Experience with current data technologies across the stack (preparation to visualization)
  • Knowledge of database management systems, both relational (e.g., SQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra)
  • Familiarity with data integration and ETL tools
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and techniques
  • End to end Project Management experience.
  • An adaptable individual who can comfortably take on a varied portfolio of change assignments spanning business and technology domains.
  • Interpersonal skills and strong stakeholder engagement skills.
