D365 F&O - Distribution Functional Support Analyst

Job Description

This role is a D365 F&O - Distribution Functional Support Analyst position, responsible for working closely with business users to understand their business processes and requirements, and to design, configure, and implement solutions that improve their operations along with the partner. The responsibilities of this role may include:

1. Solution Design: The Distribution In-house Consultant is responsible for designing solutions that meet business requirements and align with the overall technical architecture of the organization. This includes providing recommendations on best practices and industry standards.

2. Configuration: The individual will be responsible for configuring and rollout the Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations system to meet the needs of the subsidiaries. This includes creating and configuring master data, such as Items, customers, vendors, opening balance etc.

3. Testing: The Distribution In-house Consultant is responsible for developing test plans and ensuring that all configurations, customizations and integrations are thoroughly tested as per business process acceptance and accuracy.

4. End-User Training: The individual is responsible for providing end-user training to ensure that the end user team understands how to use the system effectively.

5. Documentation: The individual is responsible for creating technical and functional documentation for the solutions developed and sharing it with other team members.

6. Providing general usability guidance, and preparation reference material for key or end users

7. Issue Resolution: The Distribution In-house Consultant is responsible for identifying and resolving functional issues and providing support to end-users, including the analysis and diagnosis of issues and providing resolution or escalating to other teams.

8. Continuous Improvement: The individual will be responsible for identifying opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements to improve the end user operations.

9. Project Management: The Distribution In-house Consultant will work with the project manager to ensure that the project is delivered on-time, within budget, and to the end user satisfaction.

Overall, the Distribution In-house Consultant role in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations requires a deep understanding of the distribution business processes and the ability to translate them into technical solutions that meet the needs of the end user. It also requires strong communication and problem-solving skills to ensure that the project is delivered successfully.
