Position Summary
A Hotel Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, comfortable, and tidy environment in guest rooms and public hotel areas. They play a critical role in ensuring guest satisfaction by upholding high cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with hotel policies and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
1. Guest Room Cleaning
Clean, dust, and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and assigned hotel areas.

Make beds, change linens, replace towels and guest amenities.

Vacuum carpets, mop floors, and clean windows/mirrors.

Restock minibar (if applicable) and check in-room equipment functionality (e.g., TV, lamps).

2. Public Area Maintenance
Clean lobbies, hallways, elevators, staircases, and public restrooms.

Ensure public spaces are neat and orderly at all times.

3. Inventory and Supplies
Replenish housekeeping carts with supplies (e.g., toiletries, cleaning agents, linens).

Notify the supervisor when stock levels are low.

4. Reporting and Communication
Report maintenance issues or safety hazards (e.g., broken lights, leaks) to the housekeeping supervisor or maintenance team.

Return lost and found items to the designated area following hotel protocol.

Record daily room cleaning status (cleaned, vacant, occupied, DND) accurately.

5. Compliance and Safety
Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards (e.g., OSHA, local health codes).

Properly handle and store cleaning chemicals and materials.

Follow hotel-specific cleaning procedures, including eco-friendly initiatives when applicable
