This role involves tracking food and beverage costs, analyzing financial data, and implementing cost-saving strategies without compromising quality and service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control food and beverage costs to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports detailing cost variances and recommendations.
- Develop and maintain a cost control system to track expenses, waste, and inventory levels.
- Coordinate with purchasing and kitchen teams to optimize procurement and usage of raw materials.
- Conduct regular stock audits and inventory reconciliations to prevent losses.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, budget guidelines, and industry standards.
- Identify cost reduction opportunities and implement cost-saving measures.
- Assist in menu pricing by evaluating cost structures and profit margins.
- Provide financial insights to management to support decision-making.
Skills
