• Monitor server performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and other core services.
• Schedule and manage backups and disaster recovery operations.
• Patch management and OS/software updates.
• Automate administrative tasks using scripts and tools (PowerShell, Bash, etc.).
• Set up automated alerts for critical infrastructure (disk space, service failure, CPU thresholds, etc.).
• Manage cloud backups or DR solutions for the Server & Microsoft SQL server database & SAP HANA database
• Regularly test recovery plans and ensure high data integrity and availability. Network & Security:
• Administer and secure LAN/WAN infrastructure and maintain high up time.
• Configure and monitor Fortinet firewalls – manage rules, VPNs, and threat protection features.
• Ensure the implementation of network and system security protocols, including access control, patch management, and encryption standards. VOIP System Management:
• Manage and maintain company VOIP systems – provisioning, troubleshooting, and integration.
• Coordinate with service providers to resolve outages or performance issues.
• Monitor call quality, uptime, and performance metrics. End-User Support:
• Provide technical support to end-users across hardware, software, network, Printer and remote access issues.
• Resolve helpdesk tickets and escalate as needed.
• Support onboarding/offboarding processes, including system access setup and hardware provisioning.
• Document resolutions, maintain knowledge base articles, and contribute to IT support best practices.
