Architecture Technical Office Engineer

The Architecture Technical Office Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful realization of architectural designs through meticulous planning, coordination, and technical assistance throughout the project lifecycle. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.

1. Technical Support:
  - Provide technical support to the architectural team during the design phase and throughout construction.
  - Develop and review architectural drawings, details, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

2. Coordination:
  - Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers, to integrate all aspects of the project.
  - Facilitate design reviews and coordination meetings to address potential conflicts in design and execution.

3. Documentation:
  - Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including design calculations, technical reports, and project correspondence.
  - Organize and archive project documents and records in an efficient manner.
 

4. Site Support:
  - Conduct site visits to monitor progress, verify compliance with architectural specifications, and assist with problem-solving on-site issues.
  - Review shop drawings and material submittals to ensure conformity with design intent and specifications.

5. Quality Assurance:
  - Implement quality assurance standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  - Conduct inspections and assessments of work completed to ensure adherence to design and regulatory standards.

6. Client Interaction:
  - Act as a point of contact between clients, contractors, and design teams, addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
  - Prepare and present project updates and technical presentations to clients as necessary.

7. Continuous Learning:
  - Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in architecture and construction.
  - Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance professional skills and knowledge.


- Education: - Bachelor’s degree in Architecture Engineering, or higher- Experience: - Minimum of [7] years of experience in architectural design or construction management roles, with a focus on technical office functions. - Proficient in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and Microsoft Office Suite.- Skills: - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage diverse stakeholder relationships. - Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction standards is essential.— Preferred Qualifications:- Professional accreditation (e.g., LEED, PMP) is a plus.- Experience with project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera). Working Conditions:- Office based with frequent travel to construction sites.- May require evening or weekend work to meet project deadlines.
