Technical Office Architect Engineer (Tendering, Pricing & QS) – Fit-Out Industry

Review project tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs for accuracy and completeness.

Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for architectural and ID scopes, including finishes, joinery, partitions, ceilings, and furniture.

Analyze project specifications, identify risks, and contribute to value engineering during pricing and proposal development.

Develop and submit technical and commercial proposals for fit-out tenders in coordination with design, procurement, and planning teams.

Request and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors, and incorporate them into the pricing.

Prepare and update cost breakdowns, cash flows, and budget comparisons for ongoing and potential projects.

Support the procurement team in vendor selection and negotiations based on technical/commercial reviews.

Provide technical and commercial support during contract negotiations, variation orders, and change management processes.

Collaborate with the planning and project teams to align cost estimates with project schedules and execution strategies.

Assist in post-contract QS duties, including interim payment applications, cost tracking, and final account settlement.


Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering or Interior Architecture.3–7 years of relevant experience in fit-out tendering, pricing, and quantity surveying.Solid knowledge of fit-out construction materials, interior finishes, furniture, and joinery.Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), MS Excel, and Quantity Surveying software (e.g., CostX, PlanSwift).Familiar with local market rates, subcontractor scopes, and vendor databases.Strong analytical and numerical skills with a sharp eye for detail.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
