Housekeeping Manager

 •Supervise and manage the housekeeping team to maintain cleanliness in all areas of the mall, including common areas, restrooms, offices, and food courts.

 • Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules to ensure the mall is consistently clean and presentable. 

• Ensure all housekeeping tasks are performed in accordance with safety and health regulations.

 • Perform regular inspections to ensure high cleanliness standards are maintained across the mall. 

• Train and motivate housekeeping staff to deliver excellent service and maintain high standards. 

• Monitor and manage housekeeping supplies, ensuring that cleaning materials, tools, and equipment are adequately stocked and in good working condition. 

• Collaborate with the facilities management team to coordinate special cleaning tasks or projects as required. 

• Address any guest complaints related to cleanliness and take corrective action as necessary. 

• Prepare reports on housekeeping activities, including maintenance needs and inventory.

 • Ensure the safe disposal of waste and adherence to recycling programs.

 •Monitoring the performance of service providers to ensure compliance with the agreed SLA. Additionally, setting KPIs accordingly and ensuring these are reflected in their payment structures.  

 •Keeping consumables and spare parts under their supervision while ensuring proper usage as per standard procedures and adhering to the company's procurement cycle for all purchases.  

 •Providing a monthly report detailing overall performance in each function, along with a quarterly plan for operational enhancement, including a dated action plan.  

 • Oversee the scheduling of staff shifts, ensuring adequate coverage for peak mall hours and during special events. 

• Manage the housekeeping department’s budget, ensuring cost control while maintaining high cleanliness standards.


Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Hospitality, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in housekeeping or janitorial services, with at least 2 years in a managerial position, preferably in a retail or commercial setting. Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and safety protocols. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively. Proficiency in MS Office and housekeeping management software. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
