The Sales Manager – Distribution at Raw African will lead our offline sales channels, including wholesalers, traditional trade, and pharmacies. The role is focused on developing sales strategies, building strong relationships with our distribution partners, and managing the sales team to meet targets. The Sales Manager will work closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to support company growth and market expansion.
- Develop and execute sales strategies for offline distribution channels.
- Lead and manage the sales team, including wholesalers, traditional trade reps, and merchandisers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors and retailers.
- Collaborate with Marketing to implement promotions and improve brand visibility.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance and market trends.
- Ensure timely order fulfillment and efficient collection processes.
- Manage sales reporting and forecasting for informed decision-making.
- Oversee in-store merchandising, product positioning, and execution.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain and Finance for stock management and pricing strategies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain high customer satisfaction.
10 to 15 years of experience in sales and distribution, preferably in the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, or FMCG industries.Proven track record in managing wholesalers, distributors, and field sales teams.Experience in handling collections, launching sales initiatives, and expanding market coverage.Strong background in in-store execution, sales reporting, and regional expansion.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.Excellent leadership and team management skills.Strong negotiation and customer relationship management abilities.Proficiency in sales data analysis and reporting.Good command of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM/ERP tools.
