The Supply Chain Manager at Raw African will oversee and manage the entire supply chain process, including warehousing, logistics, planning, purchasing, and coordination with manufacturing. The role ensures that products move efficiently from suppliers to warehouses to customers, while maintaining cost effectiveness, quality, and timeliness. The Supply Chain Manager will work closely with Sales, Finance, and Quality to ensure that supply chain operations support the company’s growth and performance goals.
- Lead and manage supply planning, inventory control, purchasing, logistics, and warehousing.
- Work closely with factories and manufacturing partners to ensure production schedules align with demand plans.
- Oversee warehousing operations (finished goods and raw materials), ensuring efficiency, organization, and safety.
- Optimize logistics and transportation to reduce costs and improve delivery times.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating best terms and monitoring performance.
- Monitor inventory turnover, slow/obsolete items, and take proactive steps to reduce waste.
- Analyze product cost structures, working to improve margins while maintaining quality.
- Ensure on-time order fulfillment, working closely with Sales and Customer Service teams.
- Oversee supply chain reporting, ensuring data accuracy and timely insights for decision-making.
- Support compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards across all supply chain activities.
15 to 20 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably in the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, or FMCG industries.Proven experience in warehousing, logistics, manufacturing coordination, and purchasing.Solid background in managing both raw materials and finished goods supply chains.Experience working with external factories or contract manufacturers.Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.Professional certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPIM, PMP) are a plus.Strong knowledge of demand planning, inventory control, procurement, and logistics.Excellent understanding of product costing, supplier terms, and vendor negotiation.Experience working with ERP systems (such as Odoo, SAP, Oracle, etc.).Familiarity with supply chain KPIs, reporting tools, and performance dashboards.
