Overview:
The Transportation Manager is responsible for overseeing the transportation team, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods between warehouses, ports, and customer warehouses, while maintaining 100% quality control in transportation activities. This role will also involve managing the daily coordination between the warehouse team, truck drivers, and logistics staff to guarantee on-time deliveries and cost-effective solutions. The Transportation Manager must be able to deal with truck drivers, manage transportation suppliers, and possess the knowledge and skills to complete complicated transportation tasks and follow up until finalization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and track daily transportation trucks.
- Oversee daily reports on transportation operations, ensuring compliance with company regulations.
- Supervise transportation operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies.
- Monitor and follow up on the truck routes and loading procedures for timely and efficient operations.
- Maintain daily transportation plans and schedules.
