Our goal is to connect users with their favorite restaurants through a seamless and intuitive mobile application. We are seeking a Product Manager to join our team and drive the successful delivery, launch, and continuous improvement of our food ordering app.

Role Overview:

As a Product Manager, you will be the bridge between our technical teams and business objectives, ensuring that our food ordering platform is delivered on time, meets the highest standards of quality, and aligns with customer expectations. You will play a crucial role in managing the product lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams (development, design, marketing), and launching new features. In addition, you will be responsible for writing clear and actionable user stories for developers and defining test cases for QA engineers to ensure high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Strategy & Roadmap:
  • Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the food ordering app, focusing on user experience and market needs in Jordan.
  • Translate business goals into detailed product requirements, ensuring that technical teams understand the scope and objectives.
  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on user feedback, market research, and business priorities.
  • Collaboration with Technical Teams:
  • Work closely with development teams (backend, frontend, and mobile) to ensure clear communication of requirements and timelines.
  • Write detailed user stories that clearly define the user experience, functionality, and acceptance criteria for developers to follow.
  • Ensure developers understand the scope of each user story and that it is broken down into manageable tasks.
  • Develop test cases in collaboration with QA engineers to ensure each feature meets the necessary quality standards and functions as intended.
  • Manage the product backlog and sprint planning, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of app features and bug fixes.
  • Launch Management:
  • Own the product launch process, coordinating with marketing, sales, and operations to ensure a successful rollout of the app.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new app features, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and prepared for release.
  • Monitor app performance post-launch, collecting feedback and data to iterate and improve the product.
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Act as the main point of contact between technical teams, management, and external partners (e.g., restaurants, delivery services).
  • Regularly communicate product progress, timelines, and updates to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment on product development goals and launch timelines.
  • User Feedback & Continuous Improvement:
  • Gather insights from users, restaurant partners, and internal teams to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement A/B testing, data analysis, and user research to continuously improve the app experience.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to keep the product competitive in the market.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 3-5 years of product management experience, preferably in the food tech or e-commerce industry.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of mobile and web technologies, with the ability to work effectively with technical teams (developers, QA, UX/UI designers).
  • User Story Writing: Experience in writing detailed user stories that translate product requirements into clear, actionable development tasks.
  • Test Case Development: Ability to define and oversee test cases for QA engineers to ensure that new features and updates meet quality standards.
  • Project Management Skills: Experience with agile methodologies, sprint planning, and managing product backlogs.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
Nice to Have:
  • Prior experience in the food delivery or logistics industry.
  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management software.
  • A passion for technology and food delivery innovation.
