Sales Representative (FMCG Experience)

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
  • Identify and evaluate business opportunities by researching and analyzing sales options.
  • Establish contact with prospects and develop relationships, recommending appropriate solutions.
  • Maintain client relationships by providing support, information, and guidance, and suggest opportunities for profit and service improvements.
  • Stay current on industry trends, market activities, and competitor actions to identify product improvements or new offerings.
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
  • Enforce organizational standards to maintain quality service.
  • Attend educational workshops, review professional publications, establish personal networks, and participate in professional societies to stay updated on professional and technical knowledge.
  • Develop a portfolio of accounts through new business development.
  • Manage the negotiation and close process with clients from start to finish.
  • Oversee the sales process for new prospects, from initial contact through to closure.
  • Address customer inquiries face-to-face, over the phone, or via email.
  • Achieve revenue targets and objectives in line with the Area Business Plan.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to produce necessary sales collateral for the target market.
  • Report business trends and area performance to the Sales Manager.
  • Develop and maintain successful business relationships with all prospects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience in sales is preferred with a strong customer focus and prior experience with FMCG/Cosmetics & Fragrance markets in Kuwait and GCC
  • A high level of urgency, accountability, and professionalism is required to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented team
  • The ability and desire to build relationships quickly with clients, other sales team members, and cross-functional teams
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills are required
  • Customer-centric focus and strong drive to achieve targets and goals
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Fluency in spoken and written English and Arabic is preferred
  • A passion for eco-friendly and ethical business practices
